If you're looking to collect a rare sports card set, then you need to be prepared to go through a lot of value boxes at card shows, and finding single sports cards on the internet. Today I announce the official set that I will be gathering all base cards, and as many silver prizms from the 2012 Panini Prizm Basketball. The 2012-13 Panini Prizm Basketball base card design features a chromium border around a player photo. The action is allowed to pop out of frame ever so slightly, giving the cards a more modern feel. Still, the lines are clean and let the technology do the work. Etching gives the cards an almost-3D effect. Since Topps stopped making basketball cards, there hasn't been a full-on chromium set for hoops fans. 2012-13 Panini Prizm Basketball fills the void with a clean design, simple structure, autographs galore and a massive rookie checklist. The 300-card base checklist includes nearly 100 rookies. Like all 2012-13 Panini basketball products, the rookie crop combines both the 2011 and 2012 draft classes. 2012-13 Panini Prizm Basketball also has two different exclusive parallels that combine to fall two per Hobby box: Prizm and Gold Prizm.
