The east side of Toronto is definitely less popular than its western counterpart. Being the older part of the city, it does have a quieter and slower pace of life compared to neighborhoods like Queen West, Kensington Market or Yorkville. But if you are looking for some local restaurant favorite's, sprawling parks, cultural neighborhoods and even the best beach in Toronto, look no further than the east side of the city!
