We recently had the opportunity to test a set of speakers against each other - a collection that we had available from various places. They're not the most modern out there, but most of them are still on the market. (There's one really old one - the Eon G2. I got this trusty workhorse second hand 7 years ago - it's fascinating that while you would not chose it over the recent offerings, it's still very useable, despite bing gigged like mad. I wonder if the recent purchases will fare as well?) The speakers are: RCF ART710AMk4 QSC K12 QSC K10 QSC CP12 We also did a couple of runs with RCF 702 Sub and QSC KSub. Prior to recording, we set all the speakers at their default EQ settings, then adjusted their gain/level until we were receiving 65db of pink noise at 6m from each. The level of the music was generating ~85dB at 6m. Thanks to Stephen Gregory (and his church) for making this possible.
