Urethral strictures manifest themselves with the decrease in urine pressure due to narrowings in the urethra at the tip of the bladder and the penis, and its clinical symptoms are manifested by frequent urination, difficulty in urination, decrease in urine pressure and especially dripping after urination. When we look at its etiology and why it occurs, it may be due to many reasons such as recurrent urinary infections, previous urethra surgeries, previous prostate surgeries, previous traffic accidents, and especially sexually transmitted diseases, or urethral stricture may occur if a catheter is inserted in a patient who has undergone surgery for another reason. Our patient today, a 35-year-old male patient, has a history and diagnosis of urethral stricture, which we think is caused by sexually transmitted diseases. Today, we will perform both cystoscopy, which we call internal urethrotomy, and internal urethrotomy with a holmium laser. We completed an operation that took 25 minutes for our patient. Holmium laser internal urethrotomy was performed. After this surgery we performed today, we attached a size 18 silicone catheter to our patient. We will keep the probe for 5 days, then we will remove the probe and we think that the patient's complaints will disappear to a large extent. #urethralstricture #treatment #urology #surgery #minimallyinvasive #dilation #urethroplasty #healthcare
