The Battle of Borodino fought on 7 September 1812 between the Russian army under Kutuzov and the French imperial army under Napoleon. This is a version of Borodino from Sergei Bondarchuk's 1967 War and Peace with the segments following the protagonists of the novel cut out to make an uninterrupted battle sequence.
