Within the past month we’ve seen the explosive growth in popularity for the newest indie animated series the amazing digital circus. Sitting at over 100 million views, this pilot took the internet by storm and quickly developed a huge fandom. Like with previous indie shows such as hazbin hotel and helluva boss, the amazing digital circus developed a hatedom at a record speed. The other day with the recent glitchx livestream some of the hate surrounding the show came to a head and resulted in a pretty unfortunate situation. In this video i’ll discuss what happened, talk a little about the hate for the shows and then give my thoughts at the end about why indie shows in particular receive such heavy criticism.
