I really enjoyed Doomblade - it has an interesting take on a metroidvania - where your movement tech is more based around your attacks and aim, rather than double jumps and transformations. At first I didn't think I'd like it, since it uses twin-stick style controls, but I ended up playing through it twice for the review.
