With a childhood that included lots of moving, one constant for thuy and her parents was karaoke night; by high school, her angelic voice was outshining those artificial backing tracks. After she grabbed a degree from UC Santa Barbara, music returned to forefront. The title of the honeyed vocalist’s debut EP, ‘i hope you see this,’ proved that manifestation is a real thing - to date it’s been streamed more than 50 million times.
