How To Make A Bootable Ubuntu Live USB Using Rufus In this video, I will be showing you how to create a Ubuntu bootable USB using the Ubuntu iso file in Windows 10/11 using Rufus. Creating a bootable Ubuntu USB will allow you to use it to either install Ubuntu onto a computer, or you can use it to run Ubuntu live using the USB. This means it will not be installed on your computer's hard drive and will only run off the live USB, this can be really handy if you need to use Ubuntu without wanting to install it. Just keep in mind that when you run Ubuntu from USB it will not store any files and any changes you make will not be saved.
