Hi, in this video I am restoring a hunting knife. To grind the blade, I used sandpaper: 120 grit, 220 grit, 400 grit The material of the knife handle is walnut, and another piece of bronze, to give the shape of the handle, I used an electric motor and a nozzle from the grinding machine. 40 grit sandpaper and 700 watt engine did a great job with hard resinous walnut wood. After processing the handle on the machine, the handle of the knife was sanded with sandpaper: 100 grit - 800 grit. The handle is soaked in linseed oil, after the oil was absorbed, I smeared it with wax and rubbed it with a rag, the blade of the knife is also covered with linseed oil. Thank you for supporting what I do, subscribe to the channel if you haven't done it yet.
