Sony A7RIII A7R III A7R M3 4K Video Test (Filmed in Singapore) Sony A7RII always been my favorited camera for the last two years. Not that just a great stills camera. It was also a very good video camera. I have been thinking myself should I upgrade? Should I upgrade? I’m glad that I did. It’s a beautiful camera first of all. Build quality is very solid. Camera design is pretty similar to the old A7RII. Why did I upgrade from the A7RII? There are quite a few reasons. First, Double AF speed in video mode. I do use video AF a lot when I shoot wedding. Especially for the gimbal. Good AF is very important to me. Second, 5.5 Axis image stabilization. IS might not be a much of difference compare with the A7RII. But it is always welcome. Third, PP10 Picture Profile. When I shoot with Canon. I always like to use Wide Dynamic Range. Because as I do wedding, I don’t have time to colour grade everything. So I don’t usually use S-Log picture profile. PP1 has got the best colour. But dynamic range is pretty bad. But not the PP10 HDR mode is in between. It’s pretty nice. Fourth, better screen. The new screen makes the manual focus a lot nicer. I often have problem with the old one when shooting S-Log. Couldn’t see if it was in focus sometime. Then last but not least, bigger battery life. A7RIII got an amazing battery life thanks to the 2200mAh battery. I shot the whole review in Singapore with just one battery. It very good when you go holiday and you don’t have to carry 6-8 batteries. Thanks for watching DSI Pictures Entertainment 2018 Filmed and edited by Steve Chan www.daupictures.com
