From "Orfeu Negro," a Brazilian, French, Portuguese production, from many years ago. The singer here is actually the fabled brilliant Brasilian vocalist, Elizete Cardoso. I'm sorry for the person who continues to post a similar video which states that the singer is the superb Astrud Gilberto! I've always enjoyed the voice and artistry of Ms. Gilberto. I literally was 8 feet away from her when she sang in "The Rainbow Grill" in Rockefeller Center many years ago. She'd been hired by my then employer, Eastern Air Lines, as their vocal sponsor for a particular number of songs that would represent some of the most unique vacation destinations of Eastern at that time. It was a pleasure to see, and hear her! This will be my last communication/protest about the posting of this "alternate" particular song, and of the individual who has decided to let no one comment on his/her posted video.
