Lake County Department of Utilities (LCDU) supplies safe drinking water to homes, cleans wastewater for our rivers and lakes and provides a location for safe disposal of solid waste. Our three divisions: Water, Wastewater and Solid Waste – work together to keep Lake County clean and safe, by providing exceptional water, wastewater treatment and landfill administration. LCDU desires to educate residents how water is taken from Lake Erie, cleaned, treated and distributed to homes and businesses.
