I built this gate on the side of my house, because I was tired of my dogs using this side of the house as a bathroom. Walking to the trash cans at night became a game of luck. This side of the house also has the back door access from my garage and it is nice to be able to leave the door open while I am working on a project and not have to worry about the dogs escaping.
