The Gildergreen. The tree was once a sappling, taken from the Eldergleam, a tree blessed by the goddess Kynareth herself. The Gildergreen is revered for its healing properties, but now it is dying. A corrupt blade forged by the Hagravens for the butcher of Spriggans is needed to gather sap from the Eldergleam, the only substance which can restore the Gildergreen. Gildergreen Born from the branches of the Eldergleam Tree, the Gildergreen is a sapling that stands in the center of Whiterun, near the Temple of Kynareth. Followers of Kynareth revere the plant for the healing qualities of its sap.
