Every once in a while I'll head out to a natural artesian spring where I collect our drinking water. This particular spring is called "Beesley's Spring" and is located outside of Camrose, Alberta, Canada (in the Canadian Prairies). Find your nearest spring at: www.findaspring.com Our city tap water has added chlorine and fluoride (and who knows what else) and is very likely sourced from water that has been exposed to runoff (runoff can contain pesticides and fertilizers from nearby crops), as well as prescription and over the counter drugs (including synthetic hormones) that get pasted back into our water systems via our sewage. Though city water is "treated", maybe of these things are not actually removed. Instead of drinking this "processed" water, we prefer to drink a more natural water when we can. Spring water is filtered through the earth over a period of years (sometimes thousands of years) and builds up in deep underground aquifers. In the case of artesian springs, these aquifers have a build up of pressure which pushes the pure, clean, naturally filtered water up and back out of the earth. During the process, the water picks up beneficial minerals as well. Spring water is usually aways neutral or slightly alkaline. It's often called "living water" and many people say it has a strong "vibration" or "life force" (if you're into that sort of thing). Water is extremely important to me and I love being able to collect my very own, wild from nature. Belle and I also love making the trips out to the spring, and getting out of the city! Beesley's Spring is tested by the town of Camrose 2-3 times per month and has been proven to contain NO coliforms or e coli. Please ensure that your spring water is safe for consumption before using! Consume at your own risk. Thank you for watching! Susan from The Aweslims
