As I had some socket issues towards the end of my G7400 LN2 testing, I wanted to quckly try another CPU and see if the same issues persist. I recently lost the only Quad Core overclocking top score to Bullshooter from Germany, so Geekbench 3 Multi Core but only narrowly, so I wanted to quickly try to retake it now with all the knowledge from G7400. After messing around a little bit I managed to take the score down with just 1 real attempt. The score was 39176 so almost a 90 point increase over the previous Rank #1 score. I tried to push the cache and BCLK a tiny bit further but I blue screened quickly during the test with some memory related error message. With this result the EVGA Z690 DARK KINGPIN motherboard now holds pretty much all of the competed Non-K overclocking record scores on HWBOT.org except the X265 - 4K result in Dual Core category with G7400 which I'm still working on. All of the Quad Core records are done with my 12300 with pretty nice margins, and all of the Dual Core top scores are made with my wonder G7400 CPU from China, apart from Cinebench R20 and X265 - 4K. R20 top score is held by CENS from Germany but he was also using the same motherboard model. Now it could be interesting to try some Non-K 6-Core overclocking, but that doesn't have much overclocking value as 6-Core top results are held by 12600K and 12600KF. Non-K Alder Lake is certainly a very interesting daily option with DDR4, if you can find an affordable LGA1700 motherboard that supports Non-K overclocking.
