Delicious Onion Bhindi Fry Recipe - Super Quick Fried Okra - Vegan Recipe - Bhindi Ki Sabzi This bhindi fry is super quick and easy to make. It is extremely delicious and will soon become your family favorite. Serve this with hot steamed rice or roti. Ingredient proportions for making fried okra - * 1 lb/453 gm okra(bhindi). Always wash the okra very well before cutting to minimize the slime. Pat them dry with a clean cloth this also prevents the okra from getting slimy while cooking. You can leave them whole if your bhindi are small in size. * 1 medium onion * 1 medium tomato * 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder(haldi) * 1 teaspoon kashmiri red chilli powder or 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper or 1 teaspoon paprika. * salt as per taste * 1 teaspoon sugar (optional) * 1/4 th cup finely chopped cilantro(dhaniapatta).
