There's an error. In the second line of the second-to-last verse, the number of mora is 8, not 7. So the correct count is: ５　つくろうヨ ８　ほたるのすみよい ５　あいかわを Unlike the second-to-last verse, this one's second line cannot be fixed. All hiragana, including small つ, ん, きゃ and long vowel have one mora each, the same length. When you acquire the concept of mora, your Japanese will sound more natural.
